Legislators invited to participate include Senators Kathy Bernier (R-Lake Hallie), Patty Schachtner (D-River Falls) and Jeff Smith (D-Eau Claire), and Representatives Jodi Emerson (D-Eau Claire), Jesse James (R-Altoona), Bob Kulp (R-Stratford), Warren Petryk (R-Eleva), Treig Pronschinske (R-Mondovi), Romaine Quinn (R-Cameron), Rob Stafsholt (R-New Richmond) and Rob Summerfield (R-Bloomer).

26th Annual Chippewa Valley Rally

Tuesday, February 25, 2020
Best Western Premier Park Hotel & Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison

Bringing the Chippewa Valley's Voice to Madison. This annual event is organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, representing the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. It's is a unique opportunity to bring the collective voice of Chippewa Valley business and community leaders like you to Madison all at one time. With workforce issues at the top of the agenda, we'll be there to emphasize the impact on our region of initiatives being undertaken or considered by state government, including education, infrastructure and more.

How It Works: You'll be part of a team of several dozen area business and community leaders traveling to Madison for small group meetings at legislative offices, a luncheon, informal discussions with lawmakers and staff at the closing reception, and networking with others from the area who are interested in state government policy.

Optional round trip same-day bus transportation is available from Eau Claire (choose that option when you register).

Discounted hotel rates are available to those traveling on their own and staying overnight.  Call the Park Hotel at 608-285-8000 and ask for the Chippewa Valley Rally Room Block.

Cancellation policy: If you find later you can't attend, cancel at least 7 days before to receive a full refund.

Sponsorships will be available for local businesses and organizations who want to show support to help make this annual event possible.  For information, contact Scott Rogers at the Eau Claire Chamber: rogers@eauclairechamber.org

If interested in presenting, please complete this form and return to Phil Swiler by January 31, 2020.

The Perspective: A Local Resource To Area Businesses

The Chamber's Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Task Force is comprised of approximately 30 representatives with a passion for sharing information and learning best practices about diversity, inclusion and minority business development to improve our workforce.

The Perspective aims to provide Chamber members with access to information, individuals and ideas that will help them build more economically and socially inclusive organizations.

In mid-2019 the D&I Taskforce worked diligently to survey the almost 1,200 members of the Eau Claire Area Chamber as a means to gather information on knowledge and interest in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion.  To read the survey results, click here.
