Workforce Solutions Summit

Monday, October 29
Pablo Center at the Confluence

If you're an employer with challenges of any kind related to attracting, hiring or retaining talent, be sure to mark Monday, October 29, on your calendar for the first-ever regional Workforce Solutions Summit at the new Pablo Center at the Confluence in Eau Claire.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve undertaken extensive research to identify the organizations and initiatives in our region that have real value in addressing the full range of workforce issues employers are faced with. We'll be partnering with many of these organizations and our sponsors to bring you practical ideas, strategies, resources, best practices, and success stories - and connect you with those that have a specific fit to your industry and situation.

Details will be available soon about how you can participate. For now, hold October 29 on your calendar and watch for updates.

Talking to yourself again?  Need some advice or another set of eyes/ears?
As small business owners, we must make decisions about managing our business without the support of a Board or a team of Executives that larger businesses enjoy. Consider creating your own support team by starting a Board of Advisors/Mastermind Group/Sounding Board. Imagine a group of 3-6 business owners, each with their own skillsets and talents, all working together toward the common goal of helping each of their businesses grow and succeed.

Group members work together to hold each other accountable, celebrate successes, and challenge each member to be a better businessperson.
Attendees will have a chance to both learn about the concept of an Advisory/Sounding Board and then talk to other SOHO business owners about potentially forming a Board. There are guidelines to know when collaboration turns into taking advantage of “free” advice. Come to this event prepared to talk to other business owners about how you can help each other. Your business will thank you!
