Farwell Street, Suite 101 Eau Claire, WI (715) 858-0616 Eau Claire City Council Candidates Forum Thursday, October 13, 6:30 p.m. Eau Claire School District Referendum Q&A Thursday, October 13, 8:00 p.m. Sponsored by Chippewa Valley Community Television, the Leader-Telegram, WAYY, WQOW TV 18, and the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce EAU CLAIRE – Candidates for the Wisconsin State Assembly representing the local area will participate in a Candidates Forum sponsored by the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, WQOW-TV18, WAYY Radio, Chippewa Valley Community Television and the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. The Candidates Forum begins at 6:30 p.m. Immediately afterwards, at 8:00 p.m., representatives of the Eau Claire Area School District will provide information and answer questions about its referendum to increase the local school levy. Both Forums will take place at the Chippewa Valley Technical College Business Education Center, Casper Conference Center, 620 W. Clairemont Avenue. The event is free to the public and no advance registration is required. (Free parking is available in CVTC lots P8 & P9 adjacent to the building, and the student lot P3 across the footbridge.) At the Candidates Forum, moderator Gary Johnson, editor of the Leader-Telegram, will ask the candidates a series of questions developed by the sponsors on issues of importance to voters. Candidates on the ballot for the November 8 general election are each seeking 2-year terms in the State Assembly.
