This will allow more employers to use the information for budgeting and compensation planning purposes. Businesses will receive an email about participating in the survey on March 15th. We need area employers to contribute their data in order to keep the survey viable and relevant; data is kept confidential. We have made it easy to participate, so please review the instructions and complete the forms when received. Businesses that don’t receive the forms can obtain them through the Chamber website at www.eauclairechamber.org under “Programs & Services” and choose “Chippewa Valley Wage Survey” to download them, in either paper or Excel format, available March 15th. There is a minimal cost to receive the report when it is available in July, and Chamber or CVSHRM membership qualifies businesses for discounted pricing. This regional survey has been conducted annually since 2000, making this our 17th year! The survey has its roots in a Chamber of Commerce “Leadership Eau Claire” project, and now covers employers primarily in Eau Claire, Chippewa, Dunn and Barron counties (and a few other neighboring areas). It is currently co-sponsored by the chambers of commerce in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, and Rice Lake, as well as Chippewa Valley Society for Human Resource Management (CVSHRM). Accounting and consulting firm, Wipfli LLP, has volunteered HR consulting services for survey development, oversight, data analysis and reporting since the survey’s inception in 2000. The survey covers about 150 common jobs in the area, with breakouts in manufacturing, healthcare, financial institutions and non-profits. For questions or comments, please contact Emily Lindholm at the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce at lindholm@eauclairechamber.org or (715) 858-0614. ### About the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce The Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce is the advocate of business, striving to enhance and protect the business environment and the quality of life for the benefit of our members and the Chippewa Valley.
