This is the third consecutive time that the Eau Claire Chamber has received the 5-Star designation. “Accreditation validates a chamber as having programs that benefit their local economy and for positively influencing action in their community,” said Raymond P. Towle, IOM, CAE, Vice President, Federation Relations and Institute for Organization Management. “We applaud these organizations for advancing the principles of free enterprise.” Accreditation is the only national program that recognizes chambers for their effective organizational procedures and community involvement. In order to receive Accreditation, a chamber must meet minimum standards in their operations and programs. The accreditation application, which took several months to complete, required the Chamber to submit materials regarding all of its departments and procedures in the areas of governance, finance, human resources, government affairs, program development, communication, technology and facilities. The Eau Claire Chamber received perfect scores in the program development and facilities sections of the application. “The Board of Directors is extremely proud of the entire staff of the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce on their again achieving 5-Star Accreditation for our Chamber. The Eau Claire Chamber is one of only 100 Chambers in the country with this level of recognition,” said Faye Deich, Board Chair, Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce. “We are very fortunate to have the dedication and commitment of Bob McCoy and his whole team who strives tirelessly to make our Chamber the best it can be.
