Event Description:
The event will have a Keynote Speaker, Inga Witscher ("How To Run A Small Sustainable Farm") plus three breakout sessions with a choice of 3 speakers/topics in each breakout session. The first breakout session speakers/topics will be: Inga Witscher ("From Flock To The Family Cow, Caring For The Animals On Your Homestead"); Dean Carstensen ("Newest and Best Perennials for 2016"); or Jim Schwiebert ("Raising Monarchs A to Z and Raising Milkweed"). The second breakout session speakers/topics will be: Chris Cold ("Wildlife And Your Land"); Gaye Brunkow ("I Started A Berry Farm"); or Erin LaFaive ("Adaptable Gardening: How To Plan For Weather Extremes"). The third breakout session speakers/topics will be: Tavis Lynch ("Mushroom Gardening"); Nancy Spak ("Stained Glass Sun/Mooncatcher Make and Take Workshop") or Ellen Terwilliger ("A Seedy Way Of Life"). The cost for the seminar is $35 if registration is received by January 29th, there after it is $40 HOWEVER if the Make and Take workshop is chosen there is an extra $15 charge to cover cost of the materials, etc. Lunch is included in the cost of the seminar registration.
