The Chamber will present its second annual Sales Conference and is seeking proposals from individuals who would be willing to volunteer to present a keynote or one-hour session on an aspect of sales. Do you have experience that you would be willing to share? We are looking for topics on a variety of subjects, such as:

  • Account Planning
  • Relationship Building
  • Negotiating
  • Getting in the Door
  • Basics of Selling
  • Referrals
  • Steps of Sales Process
  • Using LinkedIn for Sales
  • Recruiting Sales People
  • Sales for the Non-Sales Person
  • How to Use Technology to Woo Customers

Benefits of Speaking
While this is a volunteer opportunity, speakers receive recognition in marketing material and at the conference. All speakers are invited to attend the entire conference as our guest. And best yet, you are able to promote you and your business to hundreds of Chamber members.

The Business Council is currently accepting proposals for Lunch & Learn seminars , which are held on the last Tuesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at the Chamber office. The Lunch & Learn series features seminars on a variety of topics including human resources, leadership, customer service, marketing and management. YPCV would like to invite the Chamber to their annual Meet the Executives professional development event. Five leaders from our community will make up the panel. Come hear their personal success stories as well as challenges the may have faced along the way. We will hear from the panel from 4:00-5:30 p.m. with time for Q&A. Starting at 5:30 p.m., we will have a short social to give you time to interact with the Executives and network. Soda, wine and beer will be provided; special thanks to Infinity Beverages for providing the wine. This event will be limited to the first 44 people that register

ECASD Hosting Community Forums: Financial Picture and Potential Referendum

The Eau Claire Area School District is hosting three community forums to provide information about its financial picture, solicit questions and comments, and have a conversation about a potential referendum. School board members and administration officials will be present to listen and to participate in the dialogue.

Eau Claire Area School District: Daktronics Presentation

The Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) would like to invite you to a brief presentation regarding a unique and exciting opportunity to support our two public high schools, Memorial High School and North High School. In partnership with Daktronics, Inc., the ECASD is looking to upgrade both gymnasiums with state of the art video displays and LED scoreboards as well as scoreboard upgrades to their outdoor facilities. These upgrades will only happen with the help of our local business community! For the first time ever, the Eau Claire Area School District is offering local businesses the opportunity to be visually represented in their gymnasiums in the form of static signage, digital advertising opportunities on the video displays, game sponsorships, radio ads, and web site links.
