Cost to Attend: $25

The Chamber's Leadership Success Series offers a platform for executives of high profile companies to share their story of success as well as their vision and thoughts facing business today and in the future. This series is a unique opportunity to hear from leaders at the helm of some of the state's most significant industries and companies.

Join us for our next session of our Leadership Success Series featuring Mike Soley, Sr. of Miller Bradford & Risberg. Born and raised in Eau Claire, he began his career with Uniroyal in 1965 upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In 1966, Mike launched his career in the construction equipment industry with Miller Bradford & Risberg, and in 1969 purchased the business with two partners. Mike obtained sole ownership of the company in 1989.

Both Mike and his wife Nancy had goals and aspirations that this would be a family business and would train and mentor their two sons, Mike and Dan, in all aspects of the business. Passionate about construction equipment and the customer needs, he added offices in Michigan, Illinois and five offices in Wisconsin.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his six grandkids and their activities. Mike also enjoys fishing, reading books, travelling and Badger football and basketball.

Cost to attend is $25 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members and includes a breakfast buffet. Breakfast will be served in the atrium outside the auditorium. The presentation will be held in the auditorium from 8-9 a.m. with a short time allotted for questions and answers. Please park on the first or second level of the hospital parking ramp. Follow signs to the hospital entrance. Once in the building, take the main elevator in the Luther Building to the lower level.
