During this month's Lunch & Learn session, presenter Jennine Fox will talk about using social media with other marketing efforts such as email and SEO. She will discuss ways to get your social media fans and followers to subscribe to email marketing programs to try to better retain and engage that group. She also will address how social media can increase your presence on SERPs in the organic search listings.

Economic Outlook Luncheon With Mark L. J. Wright, Senior Vice President And Director Of Research At The Federal Reserve Bank Of Minneapolis

Please join the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce and Peoples Bank Midwest for a presentation by Mark L. J. Wright, senior vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Prior to coming to Minneapolis, Wright was a senior economist and research advisor in the Economic Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Wright has been an associate professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an assistant professor at Stanford University. He has been an economist and advisor to the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Federal Reserve Banks of San Francisco and Minneapolis, as well as an instructor at the IMF Institute. He is currently a faculty research fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of International Economics, Economics Letters, and the Journal of Monetary Economics.

Wright received a B.A. in economics from the University of Sydney, Australia, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. His research examines the macroeconomics of developing countries, with a specific focus on their tendency to be prone to international financial crises. Much of his recent work has been devoted to sovereign default and the process by which sovereign debts are restructured.

Temporary TSA Pre ✔ ® Application Center Re-Opens at Chippewa Valley Regional Airport

The Chippewa Valley Regional Airport will once again host a temporary application center where individuals can apply for TSA Pre✔ ® from Monday, October 30 - Friday, November 3, 2017.

The application center will be located in the Airport Terminal (on the far North end of the Terminal). The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

TSA Pre✔ ® is an expedited screening program where members can leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt in designated screening lanes. Passengers also can keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on. A TSA Pre✔ ® lane at Chippewa Valley Regional Airport opened in May 2014.
