Calling all entrepreneurs' to our first Entrepreneurs' Conference! This event is designed for entrepreneurs of all ages and experience levels. Whether they are still developing their idea or looking to expand their growing company to the next level, all entrepreneurs will find value in the half-day conference packed with a keynote, breakout sessiona and a networking reception.

Eau Claire School Referendum information
The Eau Claire Area School District is proposing to increase the annual tax levy by $5.86 million annually for non-recurring purposes consisting of staff, building maintenance, safety and security improvements, class size, technology, and debt service for capital improvement projects. ECASD Referendum Information

Voting Day: Polls are open today from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To find where you vote, and more information about voter registration, go to My Vote Wisconsin and enter your name and address. Voter ID is required for this election.

The Chamber will present its third annual Sales Conference and is seeking proposals from individuals who would be willing to volunteer to present a keynote or one-hour session on an aspect of sales. Do you have experience that you would be willing to share? We are looking for topics on a variety of subjects, such as:

  • Negotiating
  • Getting in the Door
  • Basics of Selling
  • Referrals
  • Steps of Sales Process
  • Using LinkedIn for Sales
  • Recruiting Sales People

While this is a volunteer opportunity, speakers receive recognition in marketing material and at the conference. All speakers are invited to attend the entire conference as our guest. And best yet, you are able to promote you and your business to hundreds of Chamber members.

TSA Pre✔ ® at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport

Chippewa Valley Regional Airport invites passengers to enroll in the popular TSA Pre✔ ® expedited screening program through a temporary enrollment center being held at the Airport December 5, 2016 through December 9, 2016 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and
1 - 5 p.m.

The Enrollment Center will be located in the Airport Terminal, Room 42, next to the TSA Office. TSA Pre✔ ® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and more efficient screening experience. For TSA Pre✔ ® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts.

Today, TSA Pre✔ ® has more than 450 lanes at 167 U.S. airports including the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. Applicants are encouraged to pre-enroll ahead of time and make an appointment by simply clicking here.
