Chippewa Valley Rally
January 31, 2018 in Madison

Mark your calendar now - and help us bring the Chippewa Valley's voice to Madison in January. This one-day event is jointly sponsored by the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. We'll be there to bring our region's important economic, education and infrastructure issues to the attention of state government. You'll participate in pre-scheduled small group meetings with legislators and their aides, an exclusive luncheon with the Governor (invited), meetings with top state officials, an informal closing reception, and more. Everything is taken care of, including charter bus transportation to and from Madison (or you can travel on your own if you prefer).

The Chamber will present its third annual Sales Conference and is seeking proposals from individuals who would be willing to volunteer to present a keynote or one-hour session on an aspect of sales. Do you have experience that you would be willing to share? We are looking for topics on a variety of subjects, such as:

  • Account Planning
  • Relationship Building
  • Negotiating
  • Getting in the Door
  • Basics of Selling
  • Referrals
  • Recruiting Sales People
  • Personality Profiling in Sales
  • Time Management for Sales People
  • How to Use Sales Force Effectively
  • Sales for the Non-Sales Person
  • How to Use Technology to Woo Customers
  • Legal Aspects of Sales

Benefits of Speaking
While this is a volunteer opportunity, speakers receive recognition in marketing material and at the conference. All speakers are invited to attend the entire conference as our guest. And best yet, you are able to promote you and your business to hundreds of Chamber members.

We are looking for topics on a variety of subjects.

We've invited our local members of the State Senate and Assembly who represent west central Wisconsin in Madison to give us insights into their priorities for the upcoming January legislative session, and answer questions submitted by Chamber members. This event is open to individuals whose organizations are members of the Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire or Menomonie chambers of commerce.

Admission is $6 at the door for members and $12 for non-members. Passes (minimum of four) can be purchased in advance at the Chamber for $5. Registration is not required for this event.
