We will review the fundamental requirements to claim the 199A deduction as well what constitutes qualified business income (QBI). Additionally, we will discuss the types of businesses that qualify for the deduction and the limitations that are imposed.

We will use various examples to demonstrate the applicability to different types of businesses, income levels, etc. Discussion topics will include unresolved issues and areas in which additional guidance is still needed.

SOHO

SOHO
Did You Know?

The Chamber has a program called SOHO, intended for YOU as a Small Office/Home Office business owner.

SOHO is open to Chamber members with 5 or fewer full-time employees. All employees are welcome to attend.

The SOHO Committee holds a Coffee Talk (round-table discussions) every other month discussing topics that are beneficial to SOHO owners. These topics are generated and facilitated by YOU, the SOHO member. The concept is to utilize the group as a sounding board for your business, as well as for professional and personal growth.

SOHO Socials are held on the months there is no Coffee Talk, and these take place at Chamber small business establishments.

Take advantage of this group founded by and for business owners just like you! Keep an eye out for emails regarding upcoming discussions.
