At this month's Lunch & Learn session, all your questions about non-compete, non-solicitation, confidentiality, and trade secret agreements will be answered, including but not limited to the following:
- Do we really need any of these provisions? Are they enforceable in Wisconsin? What about other states? Should they be in handbooks or separate agreements? How are these provisions enforced in the court of law? How do we make sure the territory and other restrictions are reasonable?
- Can we bind current employees? If so, do we have to give them something, or is continued employment sufficient?
- What is the difference between a "no-hire" provision and a "no-solicitation" provision and why should I care?
