2016 Sales Conference

Thursday, February 25
8 a.m. to Noon
The Florian Gardens Conference Center
2340 Lorch Avenue
Cost: $69 per person

Sponsored by: Loffler Companies & M3 Insurance

Back bigger and better, the Chamber will present its second annual Sales Conference to help sales professional learn new tips, discuss different strategies and refresh ideas to help boost their sales performance. From seasoned sales professionals to those just starting their careers, this conference will empower them with better tools to make 2016 their best sales year ever!

Conference includes the opening keynote session, four different breakout sessions and a Progressive Power Lunch! Ric Messner of Chippewa Valley Technical College will kick off the conference with a keynote address on Finding Passion in all the Right Places. After the keynote session, attendees will have the opportunity to attend three breakout sessions.

Progressive Power Lunch
We'll take a break from the sessions and attendees will participate in a fast-paced networking lunch. The Progressive Power Lunch is an easy way to make contacts fast. Here's how it works: attendees will be assigned to a different table for each course of lunch (salad, entree and dessert.) At each table everyone will be asked to share business cards and give a short infomercial on their business/services. By the time lunch is over, each attendee will have gained 15+ business contacts. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards.

Lunch is included with the conference. Because it is a Progressive Power Lunch, we will be assigning attendees to a different table for each entree. Please indicate whether you will be joining us for the Progressive Power Lunch.

By utilizing transformational leadership techniques, understanding a leader's impact within the workplace and ensuring professional growth, these leaders know how to positively impact their workers. During this Lunch & Learn presentation, attendees will learn about the three most common leadership styles and why transformational leaders can increase the success of an organization. Finally, this interactive session will include discussions of well-known transformational leaders, and attendees will be encouraged to share leader leadership best practices.

22nd Annual
Chippewa Valley Rally
January 27, 2016 in Madison

Bringing the Chippewa Valley's voice to Madison. You can help make history when you join us for this annual event, organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, made up of the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. We'll be there to bring our region's important economic, education and infrastructure issues to the attention of state government.

In the months since our previous trip to Madison, we saw funding for the Confluence Project approved in the state budget and progress was made on critical skills gap initiatives like additional engineering degrees at our regional universities. This year, it's especially important for us to have a strong showing to say "thanks" for progress made; to continue to solidify relationships with policy makers; and to focus on issues that still need attention, like long term transportation funding, the value of our local educational institutions, and the state's role in addressing workforce challenges.

You'll participate in pre-scheduled small group meetings with legislators and their aides, an exclusive luncheon with the Governor (invited), meetings with top state officials, an informal closing reception, and more. Everything is taken care of, including charter bus transportation to and from Madison (or you can travel on your own if you prefer).
