While there are many leadership styles, transformational leaders inspire their team members, build relationships and focus on long-term strategies. By utilizing transformational leadership techniques, understanding a leader's impact within the workplace and ensuring professional growth, these leaders know how to positively impact their workers.
During this Lunch & Learn presentation, attendees will learn about the three most common leadership styles and why transformational leaders can increase the success of an organization. 22nd Annual |
Bringing the Chippewa Valley's voice to Madison. You can help make history when you join us for this annual event, organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, made up of the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. We'll be there to bring our region's important economic, education and infrastructure issues to the attention of state government.
In the months since our previous trip to Madison, we saw funding for the Confluence Project approved in the state budget and progress was made on critical skills gap initiatives like additional engineering degrees at our regional universities. This year, it's especially important for us to have a strong showing to say "thanks" for progress made; to continue to solidify relationships with policy makers; and to focus on issues that still need attention, like long term transportation funding, the value of our local educational institutions, and the state's role in addressing workforce challenges.
You'll participate in pre-scheduled small group meetings with legislators and their aides, an exclusive luncheon with the Governor (invited), meetings with top state officials, an informal closing reception, and more. Everything is taken care of, including charter bus transportation to and from Madison (or you can travel on your own if you prefer).
