Annual Human Resources Conference
Seminar Presenters Needed!
Tuesday, April 3, 2018
8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Florian Gardens Conference Center
The Chamber has partnered again with the Chippewa Valley Society of Human Resources Management (CVSHRM) to present the annual Human Resources Conference. We are seeking proposals from individuals who would be willing to volunteer to present a one-hour session on an aspect of human resources. Do you have experience that you would be willing to share? We are looking for topics on a variety of subjects.
Benefits of Speaking
While this is a volunteer opportunity, speakers receive recognition in marketing material and at the conference. All speakers are invited to attend the entire conference as our guest. And best yet, you are able to promote you and your business to hundreds of Chamber members.
If interested in presenting, please complete this form and return to Becky Seelen (715-858-0615) by December 8, 2017.

Two Organizations Earn
Chamber Workplace Wellness Award
Workplace Wellness Awards sponsored by Achieve Wellness, Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire, HSHS Sacred Heart & St. Joseph's hospitals, Marshfield Clinic, Mayo Clinic Health System, Prevea LeadWell, and Optimum Therapies.
Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire and Weld Riley are the latest Chamber member organizations to earn a Workplace Wellness Award from the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce.
Both organizations were recognized for their efforts to enhance the wellness of their employees by implementing workplace wellness programs that meet eight best practice criteria established by the Chamber's Health & Wellness Committee. In both cases, they have previously qualified for the top Gold Level Award, and this recognition acknowledges their continuing qualification for that level.
Kate Banchy of Spectrum Insurance, the Chamber's Health & Wellness Committee Chair, and Dave Minor, Chamber President & CEO, recently presented the awards to company leadership and their wellness committees. There are currently more than 20 Chamber member organizations who have now received a Workplace Wellness Award.
