Working Mothers Luncheon

Wednesday, May 11, Noon - 1:30 p.m.
Eau Claire Golf & Country Club
828 Clubview Drive, Altoona
Cost to attend: $25

Sponsored by: Associated Bank, Dove Healthcare, Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire, HSHS Sacred Heart & St. Joseph's hospitals, REALiving and Weld Riley, S.C.

Join us for our fourth annual Working Mothers Luncheon! This is a unique opportunity for working moms to gather to address the challenges they face in today's business environment. Soon-to-be mothers and those who are planning for motherhood someday in the near future also are encouraged to attend. Fathers and other caregivers are welcome.

During lunch, attendees will have the chance to network and gain practical ideas and advice from other working mothers to help balance work/life experiences in an informal, brainstorming atmosphere.

Then, if you have ever felt overwhelmed, taken advantage of or enmeshed in drama, then our keynote speakers are just for you! Have you ever wondered how boundaries, balance and motherhood impact your happiness? Are you always trying to reach the seemingly unobtainable status of "Superwoman"?

First, Dori Pulse will take you through a condensed presentation of how healthy boundaries impact everyday life. Our second keynote speaker, April Marion, will describe her journey through the muddled waters of motherhood, how it has impacted her happiness and the true meaning of superwoman.

About the Speakers
Pulse is an author, speaker, blogger and free-lance writer. She has also facilitated several Christian programs including the Divorce Care program at her local church since 2008. Her remarriage in 1998 resulted in a stepfamily, causing her to realize the need for support and information for couples within a stepfamily.

Marion is a full-time staff accountant with Biesterveld & Spies, LLC, a certified public accounting firm in Eau Claire. She plays the role of employee, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, homemaker, cook, avid gardener and the list continues. Even though she plays various roles each and every day, she knows that none of them are done best unless she is HAPPY!
