Accepting Applications for Class of 2018

'I admit I resisted joining Leadership Eau Claire™ for a few years. Now after being a member of the Class of 2017, I can say I am disappointed I didn't get involved earlier. This program creates connections to the leaders of Eau Claire that without the program would likely not happen. The friendships and connections that are made through LEC are invaluable, and I will forever be an advocate of this program. Through the Group projects, LEC members have the opportunity to make a lasting positive impact on our community." - Paul Swartos, CCFBank, Class of 2017

Application Deadline is Monday, June 1, 2017!

The Chamber is currently accepting applications for its Leadership Eau Claire™(LEC) Class of 2018. The goal of the program is to enhance participants' community knowledge and leadership qualities through skill building exercises, activities and educational days. During the nine-month program, participants discuss the issues facing the community, develop the leadership skills necessary to assume leadership roles and are exposed to involvement opportunities in the community. More information is available here and you can download an application here

"Born and raised in Eau Claire I was shocked by how much I didn't know about Eau Claire before my experience with Leadership Eau Claire™. I am so thankful to LEC for opening my eyes to all of the wonderful organizations and businesses that make our city a community." - Melissa Wilson, Chippewa Valley Technical College, Class of 2017

An informational meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 27 for anyone seeking more information about the program. Register here or call the Chamber office at 715-834-1204.

If you have questions, contact Becky Seelen (715-858-0615). Application deadline is June 1, 2017.
