Vote Today: Primary Election Day
Chamber candidate information on competitive local races

Today is Election Day for Democratic and Republican Party primaries to select which candidates will face off in the fall election.

Wisconsin features a secret-ballot, open primary system, where voters can vote in only one party's races, but choose which party in the privacy of the voting booth. Polls are open today from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To see where you vote and who is on your ballot, go to: myvotewi.gov

Locally, there are competitive Democratic primaries in the 31st Senate District, and 91st and 92nd Assembly Districts. Statewide, eight candidates are in the running for the Democratic nomination for Governor. On the Republican side, there is a competitive primary for the US Senate race.

To learn more about how it works and what’s at stake, the Chamber has created an online guide to the election, and you can read candidate answers to our Good Government Council questionnaires for the competitive local primaries:

Highlight Your Business Through Business of the Week

Want to highlight your business on the web and social media? The Chamber has a new opportunity for its Chamber members to do just that!

Each week, one Chamber member has the opportunity to be highlighted with a photo on the homepage of the Chamber's website which will then hyperlink to a page on the site with an article on the business. You can also have additional photos or a YouTube video on the page.

For more exposure, we will share this information on our social media platforms, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. In addition, the top ad position on The Update will indicate the member as Business of the Week with a hyperlink to the article.

The photo on our homepage will be featured from Monday through Sunday but the other information will remain indefinitely!

Take advantage of this new opportunity by reserving your spot online. The cost is $250 per week.
