Eau Claire Chamber Groups Give Back
The Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley sponsored two families this year and donated hygiene supplies to the Homeless Children Program through ECASD. Money for these items were made possible by member donations and money raised by YP's volunteering at different events. $1,200.00 was spent.
The Eau Claire Chamber Ambassadors donated money or purchased gifts for a needy family of four. The family will receive more than $400 in needed items.
If you see anyone from these two groups, give them a high-five for their generosity!

Join us for the annual Holiday Legislative Breakfast, hosted by UWEC Chancellor James Schmidt and Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, Dave Johnson. Meet the members of the State Senate and Assembly who will represent west central Wisconsin in Madison beginning with the January legislative session, including newly-elected members of the Assembly. This event is open to individuals whose organizations are members of the Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire or Menomonie Chambers of Commerce.

Help us bring the Chippewa Valley's voice to Madison. This one-day event is jointly sponsored by the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. We'll be there to bring our region's important economic, education and infrastructure issues to the attention of state government. You'll participate in pre-scheduled small group meetings with legislators and their aides, an exclusive luncheon with the Governor (invited), meetings with top state officials, an informal closing reception, and more. Everything is taken care of, including charter bus transportation to and from Madison (or you can travel on your own if you prefer).
