It's time for a change! The Chamber's monthly morning networking event, Business Connection, will be held the last time on Friday, March 3. Beginning on April 7, a new quarterly event, A.M. Exchange will take its place.
What's different?
New time: The start time has been changed to 8 a.m. We thought 7:30 a.m. may have been a little too early for some of you!
New location: You may love the Chamber office but there are many great member locations! Each quarter, the event will be held at the sponsor location.
New registration: Registration will be required since there will be a maximum attendance (30 attendees for this event). The first five people who register (and attend) will receive a pass to attend Business After Hours. When you register online, it will indicate the other individuals that have registered.
Join us for this fun exchange of information! Hear more about Woods & Water Realty and meet other business professionals.

Telephone Calls to Members
Some Chamber members called us last week to let us know that they had received phone calls from people stating they worked for the Chamber and were updating information. Based on the information they gave us, we did determined these were not made by Chamber staff or volunteers.
However at times during the year, our Chamber Ambassadors may make calls to members to conduct a short survey and to verify information. They are told to state their full name and that they are an Ambassador volunteer. If you ever have a concern whether this is a legitimate call, please do not hestitate to call Cheri Weinke. She can confirm whether an Ambassador has been assigned to call you.

The Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air Awards
The Chamber's Business Plan includes a Green Business Initiative. Thus, we would like to encourage members to nominate businesses/organizations for Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air Recognition Awards and Commuter Champion Award.
Please take this opportunity to nominate businesses/organizations that took voluntary actions to improve Wisconsin's air quality or encourage them to apply directly. The Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air sponsors two annual awards:
- The Recognition Award distinguishes businesses/organizations for their clean air accomplishments and shares information about their successes with other organizations.
- The Commuter Champion Award program recognizes businesses/organizations that provide exceptional transportation options to their employees.
The nomination deadline for both awards is March 17, 2017.
