City Council Takes No Action on Living Wage Ordinance
At its August 22 meeting, the Eau Claire City Council postponed action indefinitely on a proposed Living Wage Ordinance, effectively ending its consideration until May 2018.

Online Tool Available for Wisconsin Companies Interested in Being Part of the Foxconn Supply Chain
Wisconsin companies looking for potential business opportunities with Foxconn can use a new online tool, to connect with the electronics manufacturer. According to Governor Scott Walker, who announced the tool at CVTC in Eau Claire last week, the company plans to purchase more than $5 billion from Wisconsin companies during its construction phase and an additional $1.4 billion in the state annually once the campus is operational.
